§2346.  Indemnity

The Louisiana Livestock Sanitary Board is authorized to cooperate with the United States Department of Agriculture, Animal Health Division, in the payment of indemnity, when funds permit, to owners of livestock that react to the official tuberculosis test as well as on those animals exposed to disease in a heavily infected herd.  State indemnity shall not exceed that paid by the United States Department of Agriculture, Animal Health Division.
