365.528 Liability exemptions. A peer-to-peer car sharing program and a shared vehicle owner shall be exempt from vicarious liability: (1) Consistent with 49 U.S.C. sec. 30106; and (2) Except as provided in KRS 304.39-080, under any state or local law that imposes liability solely based on vehicle ownership. Effective: January 1, 2023 History: Created 2022 Ky. Acts ch. 153, sec. 11, effective January 1, 2023.
