2.233 Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma Awareness Day. (1) (2) May 17 of each year is designated as "Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma Awareness Day" throughout the Commonwealth. The Governor shall proclaim May 17 of each year as "Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma Awareness Day" to raise awareness and encourage research into effective treatments and cures. Effective: July 14, 2022 History: Created 2022 Ky. Acts ch. 101, sec. 1, effective July 14, 2022. Legislative Research Commission Note (7/14/2022). 2022 Ky. Acts ch. 101, sec. 2. provides that this statute, which was created by the Act, may be cited as the Candace Metten Act.
