18A.146 Felony conviction grounds for disciplinary action. (1) (2) As used in this section, "state employee" means a person regularly appointed to a position in the state service, whether classified or unclassified, for which he is compensated on a full-time or part-time basis. Subject to the provisions of KRS 18A.095, any state employee who is convicted of a felony may be subject to any disciplinary action deemed appropriate, including dismissal from the state service.
