164.036 Council for Educational Research -- Duty to advise on data needed by colleges of education -- Service by deans of colleges of education. (1) (2) (3) The Council for Educational Research is hereby established. At least once each year, the council shall advise the Board of the Kentucky Center for Statistics and the Office of the Kentucky Center for Statistics on the data needed by colleges of education for conducting education research. The deans of the colleges of education at each public research and comprehensive university shall serve on the council or appoint a designee from the research faculty in the college of education. Effective: June 27, 2019 History: Amended 2019 Ky. Acts ch. 154, sec. 6, effective June 27, 2019. -- Created 2013 Ky. Acts ch. 18, sec. 7, effective June 25, 2013; and ch. 90, sec. 7, effective June 25, 2013. Legislative Research Commission Note (6/25/2013). This statute was created by 2013 Ky. Acts chs. 18 and 90, which were companion bills and are substantively identical. Where these Acts are not in conflict, they have been codified together. Where a conflict exists, Acts ch. 90 prevails under KRS 446.250 as the Act which passed the General Assembly last.
