158.080 Private and parochial schools -- Courses -- School calendar. Private and parochial schools certified in accordance with KRS 156.160(2) shall: (1) Be taught in the English language and shall offer instruction in the several branches of study required to be taught in the public schools of the state; and (2) Operate on a school calendar with a minimum school term and student instructional year, as defined in KRS 158.070. Under the authority of KRS 7.136, the reviser of statutes has changed "KRS 156.160(3)" to "KRS 156.160(2)" in this statute to conform to the deletion of a subsection and renumbering of subsequent subsections in KRS 156.160 by 2025 Ky. Acts ch. 113, sec. 2.
