453.070 Cost of continuance in civil action -- Dismissal -- Amendment. (1) (2) (3) If a party to a civil action obtains a continuance, or files an amendment that causes a continuance, he shall pay the costs occasioned thereby. If an action is dismissed for want of jurisdiction, the party in error shall pay the costs. If a party obtains further time to plead or to amend his pleadings, he shall pay the costs occasioned thereby. Effective: January 2, 1978 History: Amended 1976 (1st Extra. Sess.) Ky.
