198B.310 Labeling requirements. (1) (2) Each light of safety glazing material manufactured, distributed, imported, or sold for use in hazardous locations or installed in a similar location within the Commonwealth of Kentucky shall be permanently labeled by such means as etching, sandblasting or firing ceramic material on the safety glazing material. The label shall identify the labeler, whether manufacturer, fabricator, or installer, and the nominal thickness and the type of safety glazing material and the fact that the material meets the test requirements of the current ANSI standard or other generally accepted industry standard as adopted by the department through the promulgation of an administrative regulation; and any further requirements that may be adopted by the department. The label shall be legible and visible after installation. Safety glazing labeling shall not be used on other than safety glazing materials. Effective:June 29, 2017 History: Amended 2017 Ky.
