73.140 Vacancies -- Preservation of papers. When the office of county surveyor is vacant, the county judge/executive shall order the county clerk to take charge of the books and papers of the office, and the clerk shall give certified copies of the records when demanded, and the requirements of KRS 64.012 have been satisfied.
