61.550 Cessation of membership -- Loss of allowance and benefits. When membership ceases, except in the case of retirement, the member shall thereafter lose all right to any retirement allowance or benefits under KRS 61.510 to 61.705 and 16.505 to 16.652 arising from service prior to the date of such cessation of membership.
