304.17-317 Ambulatory surgical centers, coverage.

304.17-317 Ambulatory surgical centers, coverage. (1) (2) All individual health insurance policies providing coverage on an expense incurred basis shall provide coverage for health care treatment or services rendered by ambulatory surgical centers approved by the Kentucky Health Facilities and Health Services Certificate of Need and Licensure Board. The health coverage for health care treatment or services rendered by an ambulatory surgical center shall be on the same basis as coverage provided for the same health care treatment or services rendered by a hospital. The requirements of this section shall apply to all health insurance policies delivered or issued for delivery in this state on and after October 1, 1978.
