299.410 Notice of assessment -- Form and service. After an assessment has been made, the secretary shall notify every policyholder. The notice shall bear the name of the secretary and shall state the amount due the company from the policyholders, the time when and to whom it shall be paid, and the use to be made of the money collected. The time of payment shall be not less than thirty (30) nor more than sixty (60) days from service of the notice, which may be personal or by mail. If by mail, service shall be deemed complete when the notice is deposited in the post office, postage prepaid, at the place where the principal office of the company is located, directed to each policyholder at the last post office address given by him to the secretary.
