258.087 Authorization to provide for more stringent regulation of rabies control. Any city, county, urban-county, charter county, or consolidated local government may, by the adoption of an appropriate ordinance or resolution, provide for more stringent regulation of rabies control in dogs, cats, ferrets, and other animals than set forth in KRS 258.005 to 258.087. Effective: July 13, 2004 History: Amended 2004 Ky. Acts ch. 189, sec. 10, effective July 13, 2004. -- Created 1978 Ky. Acts ch. 37, sec. 6, effective June 17, 1978.
