153.233 Entity producing or financing arts and receiving $25,000 or less from state or local governmental units -- Exemption from open meetings and open records requirements. An entity involved in producing or financing arts on a local or statewide basis, since the inception of fiscal year 2004-2005, which received a total of twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) or less as a result of appropriations or grants from state or local governmental units, shall be exempt from the requirements of: (1) KRS 61.805 to 61.850; and (2) KRS 61.870 to 61.884. Effective: April 27, 2018 History: Created 2018 Ky. Acts ch. 171, sec. 18, effective April 14, 2018; and ch. 207, sec. 18, effective April 27, 2018. Legislative Research Commission Note (4/27/2018). This statute was created by 2018 Ky. Acts ch. 171, sec. 18 and ch. 207, sec. 18 which are identical and have been codified together.
