286.6-145 Annual meeting. (1) (2) (3) The annual meeting and any special meetings of the members of the credit union shall be held at the time, place, and in the manner indicated by the bylaws. At all such meetings a member shall have but one (1) vote, irrespective of his shareholding. No member may vote by proxy, but a member may vote by absentee ballot if the bylaws of the credit union so provide. A society, association, copartnership or corporation having membership in the credit union may be represented and have its vote cast by one (1) of its members or shareholders, provided such person has been so authorized by the organization's governing body. Effective: July 13, 1984 History: Created 1984 Ky. Acts ch. 408, sec. 15, effective July 13, 1984. Formerly codified as KRS 290.145. Legislative Research Commission Note (7/12/2006). In accordance with 2006 Ky. Acts ch. 247, secs. 38 and 39, this statute has been renumbered as a section of the Kentucky Financial Services Code, KRS Chapter 286.
