286.4-520 Prohibited advertisements and statements. No licensee shall advertise, print, display, publish, distribute, broadcast or televise, or permit to be advertised, printed, displayed, published, distributed, broadcast or televised, any statement or representation with regard to the rates, terms, or conditions for making loans in the sum of fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) or less, which is false, misleading, or deceptive. Effective: July 15, 1986 History: Amended 1986 Ky. Acts ch. 331, sec. 44, effective July 15, 1986. -- Amended 1972 Ky. Acts ch. 203, sec. 49. -- Created 1960 Ky. Acts ch. 204, sec. 12, effective June 16, 1960. Formerly codified as KRS 288.520. Legislative Research Commission Note (7/12/2006). In accordance with 2006 Ky. Acts ch. 247, secs. 38 and 39, this statute has been renumbered as a section of the Kentucky Financial Services Code, KRS Chapter 286.
