212.110 Certification of election results. The result of any county election for the creation, establishment and maintenance of a county department of health shall be certified to the fiscal court of the county in which the department is to be created, established and maintained. The fiscal court shall, if the result of the election is certified as in favor of the department, forthwith proceed to declare the county a county department of health, and shall proceed to put the department of health into effect in the same manner as they are authorized to do upon their own initiative. The cost and expense of its creation, establishment and maintenance shall follow the provisions of KRS 212.040. History: Amended 1972 Ky. Acts ch. 301, sec. 16. -- Recodified 1942 Ky.
