2.065 POW/MIA flag -- Flags purchased or displayed by public institutions to be manufactured in United States. (1) As used in this section, "Prisoner of War and Missing in Action flag" or "POW/MIA flag" means the POW/MIA flag designated in 36 U.S.C. sec. 902 by the United States Congress as the symbol of the nation's commitment and concern for the fate of Americans still prisoner, missing in action, or otherwise unaccounted for as a result of hostile action. All POW/MIA flags purchased by a public institution or displayed by a public institution shall be manufactured in the United States. (2) Effective: July 12, 2012 History: Created 2012 Ky.
