177.103 Definitions for KRS 177.106. As used in KRS 177.106, unless the context otherwise requires: (1) "Roads" includes highways, bridges and bridge approaches. (2) "Encroachment" means any improvement to land constructed, created or implemented or any change from the original contour thereof, including but not limited to buildings, fences, ditches, embankments, driveways or signs, which hinders or prevents use or maintenance of roads or rights-of-way. (3) "Person" means any individual, firm, co-partnership, joint venture, association, social club, fraternal organization, corporation, estate, trust, business trust, receiver, syndicate, cooperative or any other group or combination acting as a unit.
