71.110 Office of jailer consolidated with office of sheriff in county containing a consolidated local government, city of the first class, or an urban-county government.

71.110 Office of jailer consolidated with office of sheriff in county containing a consolidated local government, city of the first class, or an urban-county government. The offices of sheriff and jailer in counties containing a consolidated local government, a city of the first class, or an urban-county government shall be consolidated, but the office of sheriff shall be retained; and the sheriff hereafter in such counties shall perform the duties of jailer.
