367.46993 Telemarketer prohibited from contacting credit card issuer to obtain account number -- Issuer prohibited from providing account number. (1) (2) A telemarketer shall not contact a credit card issuer, in writing or by telephone, facsimile, computer, or by any other means, for the purpose of obtaining a consumer's credit card account number. A credit card issuer shall not provide a consumer's credit card account number to a telemarketer. Effective: July 15, 2002 History: Created 2002 Ky. Acts ch. 18, sec. 1, effective July 15, 2002.
