315.235 Attorney General's jurisdiction to investigate and prosecute violators of pharmacy laws. (1) (2) (3) The Attorney General has concurrent jurisdiction with the Commonwealth's attorneys of this state for the enforcement of the provisions of this chapter. The Attorney General may investigate and prosecute a practitioner or any other person who violates the provisions of: (a) This chapter; and (b) Any other statute if the violation is committed by the practitioner or person in the course of committing a violation described in paragraph (a) of this subsection. When acting pursuant to this section, the Attorney General may commence his investigation and file a criminal action without leave of court, and the Attorney General has exclusive charge of the conduct of the prosecution.
