247.413 Creation of council -- Purposes. There is hereby established the Kentucky Council on Agriculture which shall be located within the Department of Agriculture. The object of the council shall be the development and promotion of a broadly conceived statewide agricultural and agri-business program, including the distribution and promotion of agricultural products, which will stimulate the acceleration of the state's agricultural economy by endeavoring to improve all phases thereof.
