247.010 Definitions for chapter. As used in this chapter, unless the context requires otherwise: (1) "Board" means the State Board of Agriculture; (2) "Commissioner" means Commissioner of Agriculture; (3) "Department" means the Department of Agriculture; and (4) "Livestock" means cattle, sheep, swine, goats, horses, alpacas, llamas, buffaloes, or any other animals of the bovine, ovine, porcine, caprine, equine, or camelid species. Effective:June 29, 2017 History: Amended 2017 Ky. Acts ch. 129, sec. 16, effective June 29, 2017. -Created 1942 Ky. Acts ch. 208, sec. 1, effective October 1, 1942, to clarify chapter.
