216B.0415 Jurisdiction of State Board of Medical Licensure over physician's acting as medical director for an ambulance service. (1) (2) The State Board of Medical Licensure shall have sole jurisdiction regarding any complaint relating to the medical supervision of an ambulance service or ambulance service personnel against a physician performing in the role of medical director for an ambulance service for basic or advanced life support services. This section shall not preclude or limit the filing of civil litigation in a court of appropriate jurisdiction. Effective: July 15, 1998 History: Created 1998 Ky.
