211.995 Penalties for violation of KRS 211.972 to 211.982 -- Civil penalty -- License revocation. (1) (2) (3) Any person who shall violate or refuse to comply with any of the provisions of KRS 211.972 to 211.982 or regulations promulgated pursuant thereto shall be guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of not less than one hundred dollars ($100) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500) and when such violation is of a continuing nature, each day upon which a violation occurs shall be deemed a separate offense. In addition to any criminal penalty imposed under this section, any person who violates or refuses to comply with any of the provisions of KRS 211.972 to 211.982 shall be subject to a civil penalty not to exceed the sum of five thousand dollars ($5,000). The secretary may, at his or her discretion, revoke any license issued pursuant to KRS 211.972 to 211.982 upon confirmation that a licensee has committed a third or subsequent violation of those sections.
