95A.010 Application of chapter. (1) (2) This chapter shall apply to the personnel of all fire departments in the state whether paid or unpaid, or both. Except as expressly provided in this chapter, nothing herein contained shall be deemed to limit the powers, rights, duties, and responsibilities of municipal or county governments, or the Firefighters' and Policemen's Civil Service Act. Effective: June 17, 1978 History: Amended 1978 Ky. Acts ch. 164, sec. 50, effective June 17, 1978. -- Amended 1972 Ky. Acts ch. 155, sec. 1; and ch. 366, sec. 1. -- Created 1970 Ky. Acts ch. 171, sec. 11. Legislative Research Commission Note. Acts 1972, ch. 366, § 1 also amended this section but did not conflict with the Acts 1972, ch. 155, § 1 amendment, so Acts 1972, ch. 366, § 1 was incorporated into Acts 1972, ch. 155, § 1.
