83A.180 Administration of oath. In cities of the home rule class, the official oath of any city officer, whether elected or appointed, may be administered by the mayor of the city for which the officer serves, except that a mayor's official oath shall be administered by such person as otherwise provided by law. Effective: January 1, 2015 History: Amended 2014 Ky. Acts ch. 92, sec. 19, effective January 1, 2015. -- Created 1988 Ky. Acts ch. 316, sec. 1, effective July 15, 1988.
