.260 Definitions.

454.260 Definitions. As used in KRS 454.260 to 454.270, unless the context otherwise requires: (1) "Vessel" means to include all navigable structures intended for commercial or pleasure transportation or any type of boating upon any river, lake, stream or body of water in the State of Kentucky. Said definition is to be interpreted liberally. (2) "Boat" means to include all navigable structures intended for commercial or pleasure transportation or any type of boating upon any river, lake, stream or body of water in the State of Kentucky. Said definition is to be interpreted liberally. (3) "Water craft" means to include all navigable structures intended for commercial or pleasure transportation or any type of boating upon any river, lake, stream or body of water in the State of Kentucky. Said definition is to be interpreted liberally. (4) "Nonresident" means any person who does not live and reside in the State of Kentucky or any business or corporation which does not have the home office or principal place of business in the State of Kentucky.
