321.205 Mobile facilities -- Authorized incidental activities. A veterinarian may: (1) Make farm or house calls in a motor vehicle or utilize a motor vehicle equipped with special medical or surgical equipment if the veterinarian has a permanent base of operations with a published address and telephone number recorded with the board where the veterinarian may be contacted. (2) Apply the principles of environmental sanitation, food inspection, animal nutrition, artificial insemination, environmental pollution control, zoonotic disease control, and disaster medicine in the promotion and protection of public health; and (3) Engage in the collection of hazardous biological specimens and the use of vaccine which may be injurious to humans, in accordance with applicable federal statutes and regulations.
