304.9-460 Return of license to commissioner. (1) (2) All licenses issued under this code, although issued and delivered to the licensee or his or her employer, shall at all times be the property of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Upon any expiration, termination, suspension, or revocation of the license, the licensee or other person having possession or custody of the license shall forthwith deliver it to the commissioner either by personal delivery or by mail. As to any license lost, stolen, or destroyed while in the possession of any such licensee or person, the commissioner may accept in lieu of return of the license, the affidavit of the licensee or other person responsible for or involved in the safekeeping of such license, concerning the facts of such loss, theft, or destruction. Legislative Research Commission Note (6/20/2005). 2005 Ky. Acts chs. 11, 85, 95, 97, 98, 99, 123, and 181 instruct the Reviser of Statutes to correct statutory references to agencies and officers whose names have been changed in 2005 legislation confirming the reorganization of the executive branch. Such a correction has been made in this section.
