281.763 Holders of commercial driver's licenses to observe traffic rules and regulations -- Notice to carrier of traffic convictions of license holder. Every holder of a commercial driver's license, issued by Kentucky or another licensing jurisdiction, shall observe traffic rules and regulations of the Commonwealth. If a holder of a commercial driver's license, issued by Kentucky or another licensing jurisdiction, receives a citation for a moving or nonmoving traffic violation while operating a commercial vehicle in the Commonwealth, the clerk of the court in which the holder of the commercial driver's license was convicted shall, within fifteen (15) days of the conviction, notify the motor carrier under whose permit the holder was operating, of the citation and conviction.
