237.070 Prohibition against sale or transfer of firearm to convicted felon. (1) (2) (3) No person shall knowingly sell or transfer a firearm to any person prohibited from possessing it by KRS 527.040. Any person who violates the provisions of subsection (1) of this section is guilty of a Class A misdemeanor. Any firearm transferred in violation of this section shall be subject to forfeiture and shall be disposed of pursuant to KRS 237.090. Effective: July 15, 1994 History: Created 1994 Ky.
