95.784 Conditions of pensions for voluntary retirement. No policeman or firefighter shall be entitled to the benefits herein provided incidental to voluntary retirement from either of said departments on account of service, unless he shall have been employed continuously for a period of at least five (5) years from and after the date of the passage of the adoption ordinance by the legislative body, and the amount of such sum paid to such member shall be fixed by the board of trustees payable monthly, not to exceed one-half (1/2) of the salary such member was in receipt of at the time of voluntary retirement. The payments fixed by said trustees to such member shall not exceed one (1) year. Effective: June 17, 1978 History: Amended 1978 Ky.
