310.021 Licensure as a dietitian. (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) An applicant for licensure as a dietitian shall file a written application on forms provided by the board. An applicant for licensure as a dietitian shall meet the standards of professional responsibility and practice consistent with those standards of professional responsibility and practice adopted by the American Dietetic Association. An applicant for licensure as a dietitian shall be a graduate of a baccalaureate or post-baccalaureate degree program, approved by the board, from a United States regionally-accredited college or university with a major course of study in human nutrition, food and nutrition, dietetics, food systems management, or an equivalent major course of study. An applicant for licensure as a dietitian shall have successfully completed a documented supervised practice experience under the supervision of a registered dietitian who is accredited by the American Dietetic Association. An applicant for licensure as a dietitian shall have passed the national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Effective: July 15, 1994 History: Created 1994 Ky.
