30A.205 Interest on deposits. (1) (2) (3) The bank accounts of the circuit clerk authorized by KRS 30A.200 shall accrue interest at such rate per annum upon the average daily deposit on hand at the close of banking hours as may be agreed upon by the bank and the Chief Justice or his designee. Interest accrued shall not be at a rate less than the interest paid on similar accounts of the Commonwealth in that bank. Interest shall accrue to the state and be paid to the State Treasury by the circuit clerk every six (6) months in the same manner as other moneys due the state. For services rendered by the depositories there shall be no charges made of any character or description. Effective: June 17, 1978 History: Created 1978 Ky.
