304.2-400 Insurance regulatory trust fund -- Use.

304.2-400 Insurance regulatory trust fund -- Use. (1) (2) There is created in the State Treasury a trust fund designated the "Insurance Regulatory Trust Fund" to which shall be credited all payments received under KRS 304.4-010. The moneys so received and deposited in the insurance regulatory trust fund shall be appropriated for use only by the department to defray the expenses of the department in discharge of its administrative and regulatory powers and duties as prescribed by law subject to the applicable laws relating to the appropriation of state funds and to the deposit and expenditure of state moneys. The department shall be responsible for the proper expenditure of these moneys as provided by law. Effective: July 15, 2010 History: Amended 2010 Ky.
