304.12-215 Discrimination on basis of blindness prohibited -- Application. (1) (2) (3) Unfair discrimination against individuals on the basis of blindness or partial blindness is prohibited. For the purposes of this section, unfair discrimination against individuals on the basis of blindness or partial blindness consists of refusing to insure, refusing to continue to insure, limiting the amount, extent, or kind of coverage available to an individual, or charging an individual a different rate for the same coverage solely because of blindness or partial blindness. This section shall only apply to life and health insurance and annuity contracts delivered, issued for delivery, or renewed in this state after July 15, 1986.
