279.320 Who may incorporate -- Purposes of incorporation. Any five (5) or more natural persons, a majority of whom are citizens of Kentucky, may, by executing, filing and recording articles of incorporation as provided in KRS 279.330 and 279.350, form a nonprofit cooperative corporation to promote and encourage the fullest possible use of telephone service in this state by making facilities for such service available to persons in rural areas of the state at the lowest cost consistent with sound business methods and prudent management. Effective: March 25, 1950. History: Created 1950 Ky. Acts ch. 147, sec. 2, effective March 25, 1950.
