222.311 Hospitals not to deny treatment on grounds of alcohol and other drug abuse -- Length of treatment. (1) (2) No hospital shall deny treatment to a person solely because of his alcohol and other drug abuse. Any intoxicated person admitted to a licensed alcohol and other drug abuse program or a hospital licensed to provide chemical dependency treatment or detoxification services, shall receive treatment at the program or hospital for as long as the person wishes to remain, or until benefits expire, or the administrator determines that treatment will no longer benefit the person.
