202B.990 Penalties. (1) (2) (3) The unwarranted admission of any person under the provisions of this chapter; or The denial of any person of any of the rights accorded to him under the provisions of this chapter shall be punished by a fine not exceeding five thousand dollars ($5,000) or imprisonment for a term not to exceed five (5) years or both. Any person who violates the confidentiality of any mental health record under the provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of a Class A misdemeanor.
