Whenever, pursuant to any law of the United States or regulation of the Veterans Administration, it is necessary, prior to payment of benefits, that a guardian or conservator be appointed for a minor or a mentally disabled beneficiary of the Veterans Administration such appointment shall be made in the manner hereinafter provided. Effective: July 1, 1982 History: Amended 1982 Ky. Acts ch. 141, sec. 117, effective July 1, 1982. -- Created 1942 Ky. Acts ch. 25, sec. 2. Note. 1980 Ky. Acts ch. 396, sec. 128 would have amended this section effective July 1, 1982. However, 1980 Ky. Acts ch. 396 was repealed by 1982 Ky. Acts ch. 141, sec. 146, also effective July 1, 1982.
