381.218 Abolition of fee simple determinable and possibility of reverter.

The estate known at common law as the fee simple determinable and the interest known as the possibility of reverter are abolished. Words which at common law would create a fee simple determinable shall be construed to create a fee simple subject to a right of entry for condition broken. In any case where a person would have a possibility of reverter at common law, he shall have a right of entry. Effective: June 16, 1960 History: Created 1960 Ky.
