(1) (2) Any power of attorney to confess judgment or to suffer judgment to pass by default or otherwise, and any release of errors, given before an action is instituted, is void. No person shall appear for a defendant under any such power in any court in this state. Effective: October 1, 1942 History: Recodified 1942 Ky.
