Any person who manufactures, distributes, sells, or prescribes amygdalin (laetrile) in violation of the standards established by the secretary of the Cabinet for Health and Family Services shall be punished by a fine of not less than five hundred dollars ($500) and not more than two thousand dollars ($2,000), or by imprisonment in the county jail for a period not to exceed six (6) months, or both. Each day of violation shall constitute a separate offense. Effective: June 20, 2005 History: Amended 2005 Ky. Acts ch. 99, sec. 591, effective June 20, 2005. -- Amended 1998 Ky.
