267.150 Adoption of engineer's report -- Action of county judge/executive, clerk and viewers.

When the engineer's report is filed, the board shall meet and receive and adopt it, with any modifications that may be determined upon, and shall notify the county judge/executive of its action. Within ten (10) days thereafter, the county judge/executive shall enter an order referring the proceedings to the original viewers for the purpose of assessing damages, and making classification of the land for assessment. The county clerk shall notify the viewers of the county judge/executive's action, and set a day for them to meet at the county clerk's office of the county in which the proceeding is pending. Unless the time is extended the viewers shall file their report within sixty (60) days from the time the proceedings are referred to them. Effective: June 17, 1978 History: Amended 1978 Ky.
