16.173 Unit of department to receive and investigate complaints of human trafficking. The Department of Kentucky State Police shall designate a unit within the department to receive and investigate complaints of human trafficking. The unit shall cooperate with and assist prosecutorial agencies and local and federal law enforcement, as well as law enforcement from other states, in the receipt and investigation of complaints of human trafficking.
