(1) (2) The rates charged for services by municipally owned electric utilities shall not be increased except after a public hearing following reasonable notice thereof. The rates charged for services and the standards of services maintained by municipally owned electric utilities shall be the same for customers inside and outside the corporate limits. Effective:April 1, 1979 History: Amended 1978 Ky. Acts ch. 379, sec. 10, effective April 1, 1979. -Amended 1976 (1st Extra. Sess.) Ky. Acts ch. 5, sec. 1. -- Created 1976 Ky. Acts ch. 88, sec. 15, effective March 29, 1976. Formerly codified as KRS 278.047 Legislative Research Commission Note (1982). A technical correction has been made in this section by the Reviser of Statutes pursuant to KRS 7.136.
