321.190 License required to practice veterinary medicine -- No compensation for violator. Except as provided in KRS 321.200, no person shall practice veterinary medicine or perform any of the duties usually performed by a veterinarian unless the person at the time holds a certificate of license to practice veterinary medicine issued and validly existing under the laws of this Commonwealth, as provided in this chapter. No person who violates any of the provisions of this section shall receive or accept any compensation for services rendered. Effective: July 14, 1992 History: Amended 1992 Ky.
