251.010 Definitions.

Download as PDF 251.010 Definitions. As used in this chapter, unless the context requires otherwise: (1) "Grain in storage" means any grain stored under this chapter. (2) "Owner" means any person who owns grain against which no warehouse receipt has been issued, or who holds a warehouse receipt issued against any grain stored under this chapter. (3) "Sealer" means any person whose duty it is to seal any granary, crib, bin or other receptacle for grain. (4) "State board" means the State Board of Agriculture. (5) "Warehouseman" means any person in possession of grain against which warehouse receipts are issued under this chapter. Effective:October 1, 1942 History: Recodified 1942 Ky.
